circumitus: This is drunk and confused... (this is worse than naked and afraid)

Rennovated from what had formerly been Sally's bar, the idea for the Speakeasy took off shortly after Delight's establishment had been so rudely destroyed. While not intended to be a permanent arrangement after the Patron Gods event, Rey has decided to upkeep its conditions and now here we are.

Whereas Delight's bar was more befitting of drunken revelry and partying, the Speakeasy is more of a relaxed, laid back lounge type of setting. Despite the slight hint of dust in the air, the place is nonetheless polished to a sheen. The lighting drawn over the place is a somber shade of blue, yet oddly calming as well. Not only is this a place where you feel like you can get your drink on (liquor or non-alcoholic alike), you might also feel the need to get some things off your chest.

Why? Because this place may or may not be influenced by Sorrow somewhat. Sorry, but them's the breaks.

The bottles, as one might notice, are oddly shaped and varied in color, though selected carefully from the shelves of the business this place once was. Fortunately, you won't have to worry about anything burning holes through your insides.

Depending on your views of the liquor quality, that is.

The rules here are pretty simple: No fighting. If you find yourself breaking this rule, you might also find yourself getting thrown out shortly after (potentially with a few extra broken fingers). Because there's already a place for you to take your aggression out on, seriously guys.

In addition there is no "legal" drinking age, but that isn't to say that alcoholic beverages will be served to the young people of Hadriel without any moral quandaries. Needless to say, this will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

We also reserve the right to your moped keys if you've had too much to drink. Hope you have a designated driver to cart your ass back home.

The stage is set so that the performer can be heard throughout the room. The area around it is shaped to provide perfect acoustics, sending lovely melodies to your ears.

Or screeching shrills to make your myringas bleed, whoever is currently on stage. There is no guarantee whether or not you'll be yanked off by a shepherd's crook or booed with jeers and rotten fruit.

On the plus side, Bianca is a regular performer here, typically offering a traditional vibe of noir-styled class and elegance.

If nothing else, there might be familiar characteristics to the type of liquor here. That's because everything is home-brewed.

Spirits vary from alcohol that might remind you of vodka, whiskey, bourbon, gin, rum, tequila, and moonshine.

Naturally, a handsome selection of wine and beer are also kept here.

Products are distilled in a nearby building, where they are left to ferment before being rolled down into the storage of the Speakeasy's basement and into your glasses.

Several ingredients are also local. One might notice an odd taste, as the fruit and other components used are substituted with whatever Hadriel and its gods are able to provide.

Near the bar counter is a door leading into a separate area of the building. This facilitates the Fight Club, a place where any and all citizens of Hadriel can blow off some steam by punching each other a lot!

With enough padding between the two places, one doesn't have to worry about the noise of violence, gaming, and gambling to put a damper on your mood. The bar is there for those who wish to relax and take a load off.

After losing your dignity or whatever at the Fight Club, fear not! The Speakeasy will be just a door away for you to drown your sorrows like the pitiful bloodthirsty loser you are.
