[ OUT OF CHARACTER ]

Backtagging:
Yes, always. Doesn't matter if it's weeks to a month late; I try not to drop threads without discussion first, but I won't poke anyone unless it's an important one.

Threadjacking: Absolutely. Any unlocked comments on posts or other posts are fair game.

Fourth-walling: Not really sure how you can do that with an original/non-mainstream character, so probably not.

Offensive subjects (elaborate): Rey is not offended easily, so most offensive subjects don't bother her. She's used to being around crude military people, as she is a military personality herself. Cursing, casual racism, sexual innuendos, and all that other crap just doesn't even phase her. Half of the time she's so deadpan you can't really tell if she's joking or not, though.

There are, however, some sensitive subjects that might pop up in her threads, such as:

→ drug addiction/abuse
→ attempted rape/sexual assault
→ war
→ religion
→ murder and violence of men, women, and children
→ mutilation and self-harm
→ lack of self-worth
→ suicide

The worst part about it is how nonchalant Rey is when she tackles these things. She has very little to no social tact, and thus most things that would be "wrong" to most people is just life to her. Her entire purpose revolved around war and conflict, and as such, things like that might come up in her dialogue and prose from time to time.

Personally, I don't mind offensive subjects, and I'm pretty open-minded about the characters that mine interacts with. My only hard no's for Rey would be dealing with rapist type characters of any kind, as that is a sensitive subject, both for her and the nature of it in general.

[ IN CHARACTER ]

Hugging this character: Sure, she could use a hug, depending on how well she knows and trusts you. If she feels threatened she might react violently to sudden and unexpected motions towards her, but it depends on the person and situation.

Kissing this character: If she gives off those vibes, go for it. Pretty ladies will usually a free pass but she might get flustered and frustrated because she's very confused about emotions, intimacy, and sexuality in general.

Flirting with this character: Sure. Just keep in mind that she wouldn't know what a stable relationship is like if it hit her in the face with a brick. She's only just recently started getting a grasp of her own emotions.

Sex this character: At the moment Rey is a virgin. Yes, he's been around for over 97 years but hasn't had a healthy relationship with a person long enough to engage in that level of intimacy yet. If it comes up, I would love to address it, so it is something I'm very open to -- but it would have to be slow burn to really get to that point.

Fighting with this character: Rey was a soldier, which makes her a very competent fighter. I do love a good fight and so does Rey, though I might want to mention that she is also built like a freaking tank. Like, literally. She weighs over 320lbs due to the bionic material her skeletal structure is made up of. So that's something to remember as well.

Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Rey can take serious amounts of damage and has an extremely high pain tolerance, being able to keep going even when she's losing limbs. Fighting is fine, and injury is fine. In fact, I really look forward to stuff like this with her because of just how little crap she gives about taking care of herself. Rey can handle injuries that would kill a normal human, and she heals faster as well, which makes her even more careless in a scuffle.

Killing this character: Please ask.

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Rey has no ability to block this stuff out, and while she isn't entirely human, she is sentient and experiences life like a human does. It's just her physiology and "synthetic soul" that separates her from others. Sparing the tl;dr details, yes. Yes, you may use these. Contact me first for details because I am totally flexible and chances are my answer will always be along the lines of "FUCK YEAH YOU CAN."

[ WARNINGS ]

Rey is from an original science fiction/horror series (you can read more about it on her extended history page).

Because she comes from such a heavily violent background, there are going to be graphic descriptions to her prose at times that may be triggering to some. Stuff like what I mentioned in the offensive subjects may be liable to come up at times. So again, if this bothers you, let me know (comments on this entry will be screened), and we can totally work around it/opt out entirely.
