[If nothing else, Rey knows better than to expect Henry to roll out the red carpet for her. She knows what it looks like, and takes no pride in the matter at all.

[Her mouth tightens, pulling her hands from the pockets of her cargo pants to crossing her arms over her chest as she follows suit and takes a seat.]

It was Rose, or... "Hanako Nurumi". She was on the list.

[Rey never bothered to ask the reason for the moniker, since it's been none of her business. And it's neither here nor there.]

Had a plan to fake her death. She was on board with the idea. Wanted to maintain a pretense for the Null, not for the godkiller. But when the few people who got killed were resurrected, she decided it'd be safer to pull off the real deal.

...The idea was already in her head then. She would've had someone else do it if not me. [Not that that exonerates Rey of fault. She could have tried to persuade the woman, but Maketh had just been forced out of the Guard and Rey was out of fight by then.

[She rubs her forehead. None of that makes this any better, though, and she knows that.]
