Which is fair. Hell, Rey even gets that logic. If two sides continued to wage war over every act of brutality, there would never be an end to anything.
Exhaling through her nose, Rey's gaze locks on the wall of liquor bottles behind the counter and she contemplates drinking the whole stock before she can get through this damned conversation. "In the end, the one thing she's ever asked of me had to be the most impossible-- and I understood that what she practically meant was that there was no way she could ever forgive what happened."
