Maybe, people do a lot of strange things here...[A small shrug, Mikasa kept walking. Though the dog did stop to sniff Rey's footwear. Speaking of strange.] Eren got upset at me leaving in our room.[But she shook her head, finally pausing as well. Turning to squint.]

The sky wires? Are they just hanging up there? [For what purpose??]

[Rey snorts.]

Can't imagine anyone would be, no.

[Then something else occurs to her: Do Eren and Mikasa know each other? Mikasa always came around on her own, so Rey had simply made the assumption that she didn't have anyone...]

They sure are. Apparently they're hanging all over the island.

[Right, they're talking about dongs.]

[That got a small grunt, Mikasa pausing once again to squint.] I don't get why he was upset? Would you be? [Because Mikasa still didn't understand that. And Eren's drunken upset hadn't...made much sense. Even when she read it back sober.]

Have you heard anything about having to clean them up?

[circumitus]

[If Rey had been in Eren's shoes, she can't say she'd be upset. At least, unless it was--]

Wasn't used, was it? Usually they don't require cleanup unless they've been used.

[Or is she going to have to also explain how "using" a dildo works, too? Oof.

[She shakes her head.] Haven't heard anything, no.

No...Though I did fight you with it. [She tilted her head, did that count as using? Mikasa wasn't sure. But she moved on, rolling her shoulders in a half-hearted shrug.] He said something about not being good enough- Hey-

[And stopping again to crouch and try to lure the dog back to here. He was sticking his head into a bush. Mikasa wasn't sure if he'd bolt, but she was grabbing and lifting him anyway... Just tucking him under her arm. This is entirely how you hold a dog.]

[It takes Rey a good hot second to realize what it means when Mikasa mentions "not good enough", but probably not for the right reasons. She scoffs, her face flushing when she remembers Konoha's human/like-human men she had been with, feeling inadequate compared to the sizes that jinba are used to... Rey had to reassure her that she didn't get offended on behalf of a strap-on's length.

[And those dildos... were pretty fucking big. Rey almost got distracted enough that she missed the dog trying to wander off just then.]

Don't suppose he wasn't even sober at the time, right? There's no way you could even use that thing.

[Rey was still doing better than Mikasa, who was still happily oblivious to what had caused the outburst. She kept walking another few paces, scoffing slightly.]

I don't think anyone was sober by the sound of it... [She hadn't been. The massive blank patch in her memory was proof of that. Nor did she know what the dildo was used for, let alone actually use it.

But the thought of mentioning that slipped from her mind, something bobbing above them. So she paused, looking up at the powerlines. Not too sure what to make of the things dangling on the powerlines, swaying in the wind. So after a few more seconds of contemplation, she turned back to Rey. Her spare hand waving at lines.]

[It seems unlikely that the effects could've reached to all of the Gembonded... But Rey knows better by now than to think there's such a thing as impossible.

[She opens her mouth to respond, only to snap shut again when Mikasa draws their attention above. Rey pauses, squinting up at the--

[Mikasa looked up again... Wow Rey, you've really been busy. But as the seconds pass, her eyes started to narrow. Squinting, blinking, a realisation setting in. Blood starting to rush to her cheeks-]

[Mikasa might be averting her gaze, but Rey doesn't. She just notes in the flattest of tones:]

[She was keeping her head down, remaining silent for a good few seconds. Just looking at the floor. Taking a breath and giving a small strangled hum... If these looked like dicks then...]

[A quiet mumble. The words slipping out before the thought was finished.]

[This is not a conversation Rey was expecting to have today, but here we are.]

Probably because they're not supposed to be modeled after a human's.

[Mikasa hadn't expected this conversation at all. It was certainly an educational outing, even if Mikasa wasn't sure if she wanted to be educated. She had to think about it again.]

[Fortunately, it seems she's figured it out on her own, once Rey has given her time to let it sink in.]
