NOTE: As of 12/2016, Rey has adopted the alias "Fiona Stransky" when working with the Guard. Something to keep in mind, as Rey maintains a low profile with her involvement in the group. Other than what is mentioned in the Guard records, there is no trace of a "Fiona" identified on the network.
[The more she thinks about it, the more she intends to keep up with it even after all of this is over and done with. It would be advantageous for everyone in the city if she did. Actually voicing her intentions to other people is another story, however.]
Well, the least you could do is let her know that she isn't in any danger. At least, am not going to be forced by anyone to take her life. Am done doing that sort of thing.
[She pauses. Rather than lingering on that messed up detail:] On second thought, it's probably good that she stays alert. Don't know if there are multiple targets some of us has to kill. Not yet.
[Firo knows a lot of people who'd kill a kid even if they weren't forced to. Heck, some--like maybe Ladd or that nameless creep from Alcatraz--would welcome the opportunity. The fact that she not only doesn't use it as an excuse but willingly fights it earns her some points with him.
His answer, then, isn't curt but heartfelt.]
Good. Don't know if she'll believe me, but I'll try.
Shit, I hope not. There anything else you've figured out about this? How to tell who's gonna go after who? Why?
[It isn't like Rey has never killed children before. She's pretty sure she's killed a lot of kids when she went nuclear that one time, under certain special circumstances, even if it was unintentional. But she's since committed to the fact that she's not that person anymore. So, no murdering teenagers in cold blood for Rey.]
