He probably wouldn't if you haven't seen him fight that much. Think he used it the second time we met, when Fear was trying to get us to freak each other out, and in the tunnels against a bunch of assholes trying to kill us.

[Why was Rey in the tunnels with Sato? Well, it was for a good cause.]

[That makes Firo wonder, though: why did Sato ask him to help out in Rage's temple if he had some invisible buddy to help him out?]

It was something a while ago. He asked me to cut him up so we could put the "leftovers" on Rage's altar for bullets. Forget if I told you.

Not that I'd be crazy enough to do that in the first place, but I'd rather use some invisible helper than a guy I'd just met, if I were him.

[The sound of a hand slapping over her face can be heard.] Why am I not surprised that's the sort of shit he'd pull?

[And laaaughs and laaaughs and laaaughs. Has anyone ever heard her laugh this much? Maybe. But it still seems like awkward timing.

[Firo doesn't quite see the humor, but the simple fact that Rey's laughing harder than he's ever heard (has he ever heard her laugh?) is enough to make him smile.]

Yeah, so it all turned out to be a waste of time. At least I learned just how crazy he really is.
