NOTE: As of 12/2016, Rey has adopted the alias "Fiona Stransky" when working with the Guard. Something to keep in mind, as Rey maintains a low profile with her involvement in the group. Other than what is mentioned in the Guard records, there is no trace of a "Fiona" identified on the network.
Edible? You're not going to eat it, are you? [And then, with less than half a second's pause—] Nevermind. Don't answer that. Yes, they're edible. Salt it well.
[His hands shake as he digs into his jacket, producing a folded sheet of paper; opening it reveals a vague drawing of the creature in the garden with a few parts marked, such as the fangs, tail, and one claw in particular.]
I need these parts intact, and- and as much fur as you can manage while it is still alive.
[Of course she's going to eat it, man. Rey shoots him her own skeptical look, but fortunately Carlisle catches up. After all, it looks like a bear as any other. So long as the meat is cooked right, it should be fine. Besides, she still doesn't trust the meat in the shops, even if they are produced by Hope these days.
[She glances over the sketch, brow raised. Everything else seems easy, but that last part gives her pause.]
Doesn't need to be alive to harvest the other parts, right?
[Because Rey isn't about to mutilate an animal alive. She might have a shady history, but she's no sadist.]
No, cisth. I'm not sure you could harvest such pieces without retaliation.
[Though given what he knows about Rey... he's certain she doesn't worry about retaliation in the slightest.]
The fur of the living beast is far greater an offering than that of the dead. And I have need of it for a very significant offering. I could even tell you abouoh it's getting away!
[Though he hisses that last part through his teeth as though the kalugra were tearing off in one direction, it's more that it's lumbering away from the garden and down toward the cliffs.]
no subject
