[It's been a little while since her little freakout. Long enough that Rey has collected herself to the point where she isn't about to do something stupid and regrettable.

[Doesn't mean she isn't rattled still, though. Her body doesn't seem to have caught up with her panic, and instead has other things prioritized that it makes going anywhere outside of her camp damn near impossible.

[Too uncomfortable to put on her normal undergarments or even her pants, Rey's just swathed herself in a large cotton blanket for the time being. Until she manages to get her hands on some clothes that don't feel strange or constricting, this will do.

[Returning to the camp from the river, Rey almost doesn't think twice when she hears someone already there. Kainé has been staying here, after all. Though it's not Kainé when Rey makes it back to the campsite. She freezes between some trees, hesitant to approach anyone when she's like... this.]

What are you doing here? [Rey finally asks, vaguely accusatory after the reactions she'd received from the network. Her claws clutch the blanket covering her body; her feet are bare and it's somewhat obvious that she's not wearing much underneath. But it's Mikasa. It's fine. It'll be fine. This is fine.]

[She didn't startle too much, after all. Rey had been the person she'd been looking for, and the one who lived out here. So Mikasa just dipped her head in a small nod as she kept brushing at her ears. Everything was fine and chill.

But Rey's tone did make her pause, her head slowly tilting. Giving an unimpressed lineface, looking at Rey's state of dress for a moment. Considering.]

I came to visit, not to watch you bathe... [That what why she was wrapped up right? She shrugged, going back to grooming.] It's too loud in the city.

[Well, Rey did make it known to the few who are aware of this camp that they're welcome here, and that includes Mikasa. It's just an awkward time for her, as Rey grips the fabric covering her tighter.]

Wasn't bathing. [At least, not right now. She just hadn't put anything else on since she came from the river.] Body is just weird again.

[As if that doesn't apply to all of them. For Rey, it's just weirder than what she's used to.

[She can empathize with Mikasa's reasoning, though.]

You can hang out here as long as you'd like. Am waiting to get some different clothes, if that doesn't bother you.

[That made Mikasa's gaze drop to the drapes. Wonder what could be there because at the moment... Rey looked pretty normal. She could understand when she'd turned into a horse, when Rey had been a snake, when Rey had had the mass of tails. Hell, she was just wearing her skirt, as weird as it'd felt at first, because that little tuft of a tail had gotten uncomfortable with underwear.

...Unless Rey was something without even fur to cover up with?

Mikasa just snorted, dismissing the thought. Don't go there brain. Not now. Bit again.]

I know I'm a rabbit... [The ears were a pretty big giveaway.]
But what are you supposed to be? A- [She frowned, tilting her head. Thinking of the word.] -Dragon?

[That was what the horned lizard people were right?]

[Rey tenses as Mikasa looks at her. At what she's wearing -- or, rather, what she's not. Most of her appears normal. Her face is the same, most of her body. Sure, her skin has a redder shade and there's a hard scaliness to it unlike when she was a lamia. The horns were also different, as were her pointed ears.

[And then there's the strange thin, arrow-tipped tail behind her, hidden for the time being. But if that had been the only thing she was hiding, that would've been one thing. It would've been preferred.]

Don't know. [Rey admits with a soured expression, her slitted eyes darting away.] Haven't heard of a Ruby being a dragon yet, and haven't gone to anyone to ask.

[She grimaces. Has Mikasa seen what Rey had said on the network?]

Or gone anywhere like this, really.

[There was no way of finding out. Not really from what Mikasa had seen. Sometimes they had enough features to be identified. Like her being a rabbit, but other times people just seemed to have a horrible mishmash of animal parts. From what Mikasa had heard, some were creatures of myths and stories... But this knowledge didn't help for those who'd never heard of those creatures.]

When I turned into a Jinba, someone wanted to know more. They were trying to make a list and see if there was a pattern... [She shrugged.] I don't think they'll work it out though. [There was way too much variation.

But by this point, Mikasa wasn't looking at Rey. Too busy neatening up her fur. The ruff on her neck puffing out as she made herself comfortable.]

Is it really that bad? ...You didn't seem bothered about covering up last time.

[She really was curious.]

[Imagine living in a world where "jinba" gets used more than "centaur" for half-horse people. Crazy.

[Rey doesn't get to dwell on it much when Mikasa just has to mention how she's covering up. Her eyes widen a moment, gripping the cloth so tight that she's starting to tear holes into it.]

This one... changed. In some not great ways.

[If Rey's flushed face and inability to look Mikasa in the eye are any indication, the reason is an embarrassing one.]

[Look, Jinba was the first word Mikasa had heard for it and she'd stick with it.

Mikasa paused in her unneeded grooming, her ears were so silky and black already, but still she clean. Her head tilting, eyes squinting at Rey's reddening face. The strange aversion compared to last time.

Not getting it still. She opened her mouth once again.]

Did something weird happen to your butt? [So her pants wouldn't fit. Mikasa absently lifted her skirt a little. Just enough to sure black fur-covered shins. Voice lowering to a half-hearted grumble a faint flush reaching her cheeks.] I have a furry one at the moment.

[DOES THIS HELP YOU FEEL AT EASE REY?]

[So blunt! Rey almost isn't sure how to answer that at first, beyond just gaping dumbly at Mikasa.

[She's. Really cute like that. Well, she's cute normally, but Rey has always made an effort to keep those thoughts to herself.

[Too bad the body she has now makes her thoughts more obvious in other ways. Her cheeks flushed, both at the question and the realization before her knuckles turn white.]

No! [Rey yelps defensively, before looking away again. Her shoulders tense] It's, um... The other side, actually...

[Her toes curl over the forest ground, claws digging into the soil and grass.]

The other side..? [Slowly. Her brow furrowing as she tried to work out what that meant. Eyes narrowing to the point they were almost closed.] Well...Yeah...The front is the same too. [Just...like if underwear was furry. And Mikasa wasn't sure what to do with that thought. It was a horrible one, her fur coat actually seemed better than the idea of someone making underwear out of fur.

She shook her head. Nope, and she still confused and oblivious to Rey's plight.]

...So your front has fur but the back doesn't?

[That was weird...Really weird.]

[Oh, god. If Rey wasn't trying to keep herself covered, she'd be burying her face in her hands.]

Fucking wish it was fur. [She scoffs, wondering how in what way anyone would assume that she'd have fur on her body when she's this scaly and hard-skinned.

[Already she misses being all fuzzy and cuddly. Rey would take that over being rough and horny.]

No, it's... weird in a different way.

[Excuse Rey's processing slowing down in order to reboot so she can come up with a proper response.]

[The staring never ended...Rey, that answered nothing. Mikasa remained silent for a moment, waiting for Rey to finish. Her head tilting after a pregnant pause. She was drawing a blank.

When Rey still didn't speak. Mikasa just gave a nod.]

Uh-huh... [She listen, just giving Rey a reminder she here. Go on? Before she thought up something herself.]

[If Rey could be sweating bullets, she would. Because she does not want to have this conversation again.]

You really... didn't just check the network before coming here, or anything?

[Multiple people were appalled at the suggestion of cutting off her new dick. She'd have figured that's why Mikasa was here. But maybe it really was because of sensitive hearing?

[In which case, it's both a blessing and a curse, depending on how much Rey wants to relieve the horror of this morning.]

No...[And with that Mikasa frowned. Her hands going down, reaching for the pockets of her skirt. Shuffling a little so she could reach into them...The frown deepening when she realised she'd not brought the thing with her.]

...Why? What happened?

[She leaned forward a little, curiosity starting to win. Tell her what she missed.]

[Discomfort writes on Rey's expression at that disappointing response, her torso leaning back as Mikasa leans in. Goddammit, this would've been so much easier if she could just know what happened...]

This, um, change, it... kind of did shit to the way it's supposed to look... down there.

[Could she be any more vague without outright fucking flashing herself?]

Like... male parts? Instead of... how it's supposed to be...

...Male parts..? [For a moment, Mikasa just stared. Mouth hanging open. Then comprehension dawned on her. Oh.... Ohhhh. Her head fell with this knowledge as those it was a weight that made it impossible to keep it high.] You have..? [Just give her a few seconds to let the spluttering die down. Audibly swallowing-]

That can change?

[Then her head fell even more, her chin sinking into the fur around her neck as Mikasa...looked down at her own skirt-covered crotch.]

[It probably wouldn't have mattered what she did, but Mikasa's reaction causes Rey to retreat a few steps even more. Her shoulders tucking inward as if to make herself small and unseen.]

Guess so...

[So far none of the responses to her post indicate that such a change has occurred to them. Maybe it's a matter of time. Though Rey feels guilty for expecting that -- she wouldn't wish this shit on anyone.]

[Mikasa's head lifted from her fur and skirt-covered crotch at the sound of Rey shuffling away. Breathing out through her nose. Giving Rey a half nod. Unsure of what to say to this discovery.]

Um... [Another breath, another look around and some more blank staring at Rey's face. There really were no words.] ...You okay? [Because Rey didn't look okay. But Mikasa wasn't sure what else she could say. So she just stared up, her eyebrow furrowing.]

[As easy as it would be to lie and be done with it, Rey knows she can't hide her emotions like this. Though she's had time to process what's happened to her, there's still that stage of acceptance she hasn't quite hit just yet.]

Not really. [Her arms cross over her chest, red-clawed hands visible.

[Some have told her that she could just "take care of it herself", but she inevitably ran into similar issues when her changes make her more prickly than normal. As such, she's become an awkward, fidgeting mess with a frequent case of blue balls.]

It... kind of hurts, sometimes, and... is really fucking hard to ignore.

[Phrasing, Rey. Phrasing.]

[She wilted a little, shoulds slumping in unease. Pursing her lips at Rey.]

It hurts? [Softly.] Did you sit on it? [Mikasa lacked a penis to know, but she'd heard some talk of guys sitting wrong and...squishing themselves. Even without confirmation, Mikasa winced. Her eyes scrunching as she contemplated existence.

Unconsciously. Not even standing, Mikasa shuffled a little closer, just scooting along on the floor.]

[Fortunately sitting on herself that way hasn't been an issue, but she's had other discomforts as well.

[She shakes her head, pinching the bridge of her nose as Mikasa inches closer.]

No. Guess it's just... too much for normal clothes? Haven't really felt like looking at it.

[On account of just feeling so goddamn uncomfortable in her own red skin at the moment.]

[Her shoulders gave a little jump. She didn't know, she'd just heard.]

[She'd tried. But she had no idea...] Are you being brought guy's underwear? [Mikasa hadn't known there was so much difference. It was just shorts, wasn't it?]

Is possible. [Rey's response is curt and jarring, even for her.

[But there is one other that she's fussing over, her head a jumbled mess just from thinking about it. And the more she thinks about it, the more she's aware that it exists.]

Actually, it's not, um -- out? -- most of the time? Just when...

[Lordy, how to explain your bizarro demon dong without visual representation? Maybe she should invest in a dry erase board. Right now, however, Rey looks like she wants nothing more than to sink into the ground.]

But, er, yeah, getting some... underwear. Just in case. Would feel awkward going into public right now.

[Mikasa just made a vague noise. It might have been a weak attempt at a laugh or she was choking on nothing. Just a noncommittal noise. Because it wasn't something she'd ever really thought about. She'd been born with one of the things, she'd never know how it felt.

...Except she might learn here. Thanks to the gems. That thought made her remain silent, getting lost in thoughts. Then her head lifted, eyebrows raising as she processed Rey's words.]

[Already regretting her decision to share more details than she'd wanted, Rey's flushed face heats up even more. It's almost getting to the point where her physical body is starting to radiate hot waves of energy.

[Not that Rey is aware of it yet. She's too distracted scrambling for a better way to explain her predicament without being showy about the whole damn thing.]

It... It's not normal. As in... Have both parts. Male and female. And, um...
