Uhhh things are more or less on target for that hydroelectric stuff you were thinking of. The Nick guy has been pretty great for help, actually. Maybe up and running in a few weeks? No talk of rebellion in the task force so far, which is always a bonus!

barring no monster attacks happen, or our crew turn into monsters themselves, a few weeks sound about right.

Well, surprise of the century, that guy Nick was the only one who didn't fight me on it. He actually turned out to be pretty decent.

But yeah, uh, it didn't go over well with everyone else. So no schedule.

he isn't so bad, surprisingly. the synths back home aren't nearly as polite and helpful.

but that should be fine. think the fact that people want to separate themselves from depending on the gods too much is drive enough to work. or so one would hope.

You have robots like him back home? We don't really make ours to look human.

would've been better if they didn't look human. they did a number.

to be honest it's a little bit of both of those things.

I guess that makes sense. I don't really mind them most of the time, but I know some people have a bone to pick.

only took the place of a few government and military officials and destroyed some entire countries over the span of six months.

figured it was high time to become more self reliant when hope speculated whether we needed to eat or not.

Haha yeah that was pretty crazy. Though power generation isn't really going to help with food.

Uhhh

yes. I mean- you know, I built it into my arm so sometimes there's interface glitches. Weird stuff, nothing to worry about.

have you tried looking into why that happens? it could end up being more serious than you think.

well the a.i. wasn't controlling him so much as it was sowing seeds of bad ideas into his head for the last few years. the program is gone now but the damage done nearly drove him over the edge.

...buuuut the moral of the story here is that he survived and he's totally fine?

he survived the extraction of the a.i. from his brain, if that's what you mean. wouldn't necessarily say he's doing "fine" right now.
